At the BSBC Students' Union, we understand that embarking on your career journey is a significant
milestone. We're here to accompany you every step of the way! Upon joining BSBC, you're
automatically enrolled as a member of the Students' Union, and there's no cost involved. You gain
full access to our range of services and opportunities, empowering you to maximise your experience
at the BSBC. Our Union support manager is always available to answer your questions.
Recognising the individuality of each student experience, we dedicate ourselves to offering a
platform for your voice to be heard. Through a diverse array of opportunities, we aim to facilitate
your engagement with us, while also nurturing your potential to the fullest. We are committed to:
Supporting you: Ensuring your satisfaction in both your academic and non-academic endeavours at
BSBC, and providing solutions whenever challenges arise.
If you require additional support, our Welfare, Advice, and Support Officer is readily
available. Operating independently from BSBC, we're here to offer assistance when you need a
moment to gather your thoughts, guidance on course-related matters, or simply a supportive hand.
Rest assured, we stand by your side and are prepared to advocate for your needs.
During term-time, both the SU and our affiliated student groups organise a diverse array of
events. We encourage you to participate in such activities.

wherever it may lead.
Explore avenues to expand your academic horizons by becoming one of our Course Representatives.
These dedicated individuals serve as a conduit for student voices to reach the college
administration. If you're not yet prepared to take on the role of a rep but have ideas for
improving your course, you can share them with your Course Rep, who can advocate on your behalf.
All our affiliated sports clubs and societies are student-led, providing you with a chance to
enhance your skills and personal growth while indulging in your passions.
Your student experience is paramount to us, and we prioritise it in all our endeavours. We
actively listen to your ideas and concerns, taking necessary actions to meet the needs of our
students. Our primary goal is to advocate for your voice and ensure your time here is fulfilling
and rewarding.
Each year, you have the chance to participate in our elections as either a full or part-time
student officer or to contribute as a volunteer. This presents a wonderful opportunity to
enhance your skills, establish connections across the university, and cultivate transferable
abilities for your post-BSBC endeavours.
