NO MATTER WHAT YOUR ASPIRATIONS MAY BE, WE'RE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU IN REACHING THEM.

At BSBC, we collaborate with a wide array of employers, complementing our employability services, to ensure our students shine as socially conscious, highly employable global citizens.

We're certain that upon completion of your course, you'll possess the skills and knowledge necessary to launch your career. Nevertheless, if you haven't secured employment or move on for Higher Education, we offer a guarantee of six months of support from a dedicated Careers Development Consultant. Additionally, if you're still seeking employment, we'll extend the opportunity for a paid internship with perspective employers.

HOW DOES OUR EMPLOYMENT PROMISE WORK?

The Employment Guarantee at BSBC operates through three straightforward steps:

1. COMMIT TO YOUR STUDIES.

To qualify for the Employment Guarantee, it's essential to either finish your professional course with us or complete a Level 5 or higher qualification with us. Therefore, it's crucial to dedicate your attention to your selected course.

2. YOU'LL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO FULFILL ONE OF OUR FLAGSHIP AWARDS:

The two awards you must complete are either the Changemaker Certificate Level 3 or Employability Plus Gold. These certifications involve self-discovery, harnessing strengths, and acquiring practical experience, ensuring you're well-prepared to kickstart your career upon graduation.

3. STAY CONNECTED WITH US.

As Bradford School of Business and Care alumni, we're committed to supporting you wherever your career or further studies lead. We've introduced the Bradford Employment Promise because we're confident that completing steps one and two will impress employers and set you on the right path. However, if things don't go as planned and you find yourself without employment, we're here to assist you. Reach out to Student Futures (support@bsbc.co.uk), and one of our Career Development Consultants will actively collaborate with you to secure employment or explore further study options. If, after six months of working closely with our Career Development Consultant, you're still unable to find employment or pursue further studies, we'll offer you discounted study fees at the Bradford School of Business and Care for extra trainings that would help you getting a job or a paid internship with one of the employers we work with, (lasting a minimum of three months) to help you regain momentum and further enhance your employability.

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE EMPLOYMENT PROMISE AND WHAT'S ITS PURPOSE?

We take immense pride in the support we provide to our students and alumni at the Bradford School of Business and Care. With close collaboration with local employers, we're confident that our exceptional students can swiftly secure employment or take up higher studies after completion of courses with us.

The inception of the Employment Promise stems from our desire for you to feel assured that the investment of both time and money in pursuing your chosen degree, alongside one of our awards, is worthwhile. The amalgamation of knowledge acquired from your degree, coupled with the skills and experience garnered through your chosen award, places you in a formidable position in the job market.

WHAT ARE EMPLOYABILITY PLUS AND THE CHANGEMAKER CERTIFICATE?

We provide a variety of support services during your journey to prepare you for life after completing your course with us.

Employability Plus stands out as one of our premier awards, guiding you through a journey from self-assessment of your skills to clarifying your career goals, and ultimately equipping you with the necessary experience and skills for your desired path. This award is completed throughout your studies, with varying levels available depending on your achievements. The Gold award signifies the highest level of commitment and understanding.

On the other hand, the Change maker Certificate is a distinct accolade also completed during your academic tenure. This certificate aims to empower you to become a 'Change maker' capable of creating social impact and effecting positive change in the world. For further information, you can explore our dedicated Change maker pages.

WHAT DOES THE INTERNSHIP ENTAIL?

BSBC extends careers information, advice, and guidance to all its students for life. Should you find yourself without employment or further study six months post-completion of course with us, inform us, and one of our Career Development Consultants will collaborate with you to craft a career plan aimed at facilitating employment or further study opportunities.

In the event that you're still unable to secure employment or further study twelve months post-completion of study with us, despite regular engagement with one of our Career Development Consultants, we will arrange an internship tailored to match your skills with one of the employers in the area. This internship will be paid, meeting at least the National Minimum Wage, and will offer you valuable practical experience to enhance your CV.

WHO ARE THE EMPLOYERS INVOLVED?

BSBC hosts a diverse range of employers, spanning both large corporations and small businesses. From this year we shall be organising regular careers events to allow you to connect with employers, expand your network, and gain insights into what employers seek in candidates.

WHAT IF I'M INTERESTED IN PURSUING FURTHER OR HIGHER EDUCATION?

If you opt for a further or higher qualification as your next step, we'll assist you in securing a place at one of the universities through our network of university recruiters.
